They played “Your Eyes,” a piece written by a Japanese composer to be a “Symbol of Friendship between Korea and Japan.” A special program documenting the concert was produced and aired by Japanese public broadcaster NHK.
Professor Lee Kyung-mi was invited to perform at the “200th Anniversary of Mozart's Death” and “Carnegie Hall 100th Anniversary Performance” concerts, to be both hosted at the Lincoln Center in New York City. In addition, she won her first foreign art award from the Russian Academy of Writers, received an honorary doctorate from the Far East National Academy, and has released several albums and books.
