The Ministry of Unification selected the Institute for Far Eastern Studies and Graduate School of North Korean Studies in KU as a hosting organization for the International Academic Exchange of North Korean and Unification Studies.
As public diplomacy for peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula has gained importance, the 2020 Academic Exchange Program for North Korean and Unification Studies is designed. The program consists of a long-term fellowship program and supporting scholarship for master’s or doctoral degree courses which are specialized for North Korean and Unification Studies.
The Ministry of Unification and KU are looking forward to fostering overseas researchers who can see the issue of peace and reunification from the view of the Korean peninsula and make an environment which is amicable to peaceful reunification in international society.
