Department of English Education at Kyungnam University
Hello, my name is Seo Song-mi, and I am a third-year student majoring in English Education at Kyungnam University (KU). As an English education major, I have developed a strong interest in learning English and often read the Kyungnam Times (KT), an English magazine available throughout campus. Published every three months, KT covers significant events, making it a valuable resource for staying informed about current issues. It is also a great reference for reviewing past discussions
One of the most memorable articles I have read was “AI Digital Textbooks to be Introduced in 2025: Is Successful Implementation Possible?” published in the September issue last year. As a student studying education, I am always interested in the latest trends, and this article provided various perspectives on the impact of digital textbooks in classrooms. With advancing technology, teaching methods are evolving, making this topic thought-provoking for all university students.
KT maintains a consistent structure and is not overly lengthy, making it an excellent resource for students who find reading English articles daunting. For those wanting to improve their English reading skills but feeling overwhelmed by academic texts, KT offers an accessible way to build a habit of reading news articles. I highly recommend this magazine, as it provides KU students with an effective way to engage with English-language journalism.
