The Journey at Kyungnam University and the Kyungnam Times
Hello! I am Kang Min-joo, a graduate of the Department of Psychology at Kyungnam University (KU) and a former editor of the Kyungnam Times (KT). I am truly happy to greet readers and the people I worked with through “Letters to the Editor.”
Through three years of working as a reporter, I developed a wide range of skills. These include the ability to research current issues, organize information systematically, and convey ideas clearly in English. I was also able to cultivate communication skills through interviews with a variety of people, such as university staff and athletes. In addition, being a KT reporter allowed me to devote myself more fully to my studies through various scholarship opportunities. However, there is another reason why I was able to continue writing articles consistently for three years.
Have you heard of “In-yeon”? It refers to a special bond or connection between people in Korean culture. During my time at KT, I encountered many cases of In-yeon. Working alongside such wonderful people motivated me to always do my best, and I remain deeply grateful to everyone I had the chance to work with.
That sense of gratitude continues to this day. The support I both received and shared while working with KT has played a significant role in enabling me to connect with and support new people in my life. Lastly, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and wish all of you a year filled with good fortune and love. Thank you!
