All the 2022 entrance exams were over and new students of the class of ’22 have already enrolled at KU. According to KU's standards for Rolling Admission (RoA) and Regular Admissions (ReA) in 2023, 2,750 prospective students will be recruited based on high school grades via RoA, whereas another 171 students will be recruited based on the results from the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) via ReA. Thus, a total of 2,890 students will be recruited from eight colleges: Colleges of Liberal Arts, Health Sciences, Education, Business, Law and Politics, Engineering, General Education, and AI & SW. Unlike last year, we can notice some differences in the admission standards for the 2023 RoA. In the case of General Selection via the screenings of transcripts of students’ school records (STSR), admission process is incorporated, and application qualification is extended. And in the case of Regional Human Resources Selection via RTSR, application qualification is extended to the students in Kyungnam, Busan, and Ulsan high schools. The minimum CSAT level, which has no previous history, is applied to the departments such as Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Physical Education. When students apply for RoA, multiple applications are accepted among different admission types. For example, students are allowed to apply for General Recruitment, Regional Human Resources, and Hanma Human Resources Interviews at the same time. Compared to 2022, it is confirmed that in the 2023 admission standards, the ratio of recruitment numbers has increased for RoA throughout each department in KU. Students are given nine opportunities to apply for university including RoA and ReA, but most of them have a tendency not to apply for the same university.
