KU had the Sharing Hope Winter Overseas Volunteer Program in Laos from January 14 to 20. This overseas volunteer program is a joint undertaking within the social contribution agreement between KU and Korean Red Cross.
Overseas volunteers visited Souksala in Laos. They made an effort to improve the educational, health, and hygiene environment of local students by reforming the school environment and supporting education. KU supported 44million won required for overseas volunteer program to strengthen the global capability of University students and train citizens of the world who are independent.
They did cultural exchange activities and cultural exploration activities which experience traditional culture between two countries. Therefore, local students liked these programs.
